1980年代にミリオンセラーバンド「レベッカ」のサポートメンバーとして、当時マネージャーの現社長と知り合う。
19歳よりPercussionを始める。

Japan is proud to have produced one of the greatest Latin percussionists in the world! Obawo Nakajima’s experience is deep and wide, having played with every one from Sadao Watanabe (as a session artist) to George Clinton and others. Nakajima and 3rd Stone President Kobayashi have known each other since their involvement in the mega-popular 80s band Rebecca.

At 19 years-young, Nakajima becomes a percussionist.
